Bishop Dr. Carlton Facey is the Presiding Prelate of Greater Highway Deliverance Temple Canada and the International Council of Bishops and Pastors Fellowship of Churches. He studied at the Institute of Biblical Studies, earning a Bachelor’s in Theology, a Master’s in Ministry, and a Doctorate in Divinity. Additionally, he is a certified Fuel and Electrical Mechanic with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and successfully owned and operated his own business before transitioning into full-time ministry.

 

Acknowledging and embracing the call of God on his life for Kingdom service, Bishop Facey is a passionate and influential figure dedicated to preaching the Kingdom agenda and demonstrating unconditional love for the people of God. He is richly endowed with the Prophetic ministry and is firmly committed to the mandate of Christ and the vision of the church.

 

Bishop Facey founded Redemption Apostolic Temple Inc., where he was ordained as a Pastor under the leadership of Bishop Liston Page, Sr., the Presiding Prelate of the Greater Highway Deliverance Temple Ministries (GHDT) in New York. This led to the establishment of Redemption Church International, formerly Greater Highway Redemption Ministries (GHRM), and the Youth Development Training Program. In 2007, he was consecrated to the episcopal office of Bishop for GHDT in Canada. In 2016, he was appointed as the Presiding Prelate of Canada and became an executive board member of GHDT. He is also a member of the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops.

 

In addition to his pastoral duties, Bishop Facey serves as a board member for the Faith Health Initiative and as chairman for the Black Youth Help Line. He is the founder and presiding prelate of the International Council of Bishops and Pastors. Alongside shepherding Redemption Church International, he is a chaplain, a certified General Practice Psychotherapist, a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and a Diplomat NGO United Nations Ambassador. He is also a Certified Psychotherapist and Counsellor with the Canadian Christian Clinical Counsellor Association and is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, as well as Psychology Today Canada. Additionally, he is a Certified Immigration Consultant.

 

Bishop Facey is the author of four published books, including  "A Word for Every Day of Your Life", "Praying the Bible Way", "You Are Not Forgotten", and "40 Sacred Prayers for Women".

 

As an international speaker highly sought after, Bishop Facey travels extensively to the USA, Africa, the Caribbean, and Europe, sharing his insights and inspiring audiences around the globe.

 

In his limited free time, he enjoys reading and writing, specializing in leadership and episcopacy. A lifelong learner and knowledge seeker, he finds joy in researching new information.

 

Bishop Dr. Carlton Facey is happily married to Pastor Naomi Facey, and together they have six children and seven grandchildren.
